Description
– The active ingredient used in the technology is the silver ion-based antimicrobial agent AgION™, which is not just a surface coating but is incorporated into the material from which the tube is made.
– AgION™ technology release silver ions from their internal & external surfaces, offering both intraluminal & extraluminal protective action.
– Because the silver ions are sensitive to light (photo-reactive), the catheter is supplied within a black protective sheath.
– These catheters are completely X-ray opaque.
– 1 graduated 60 cm, Ø 0.88mm, “J” guidewire with thumb-feed type guidewire advancer
– Choice of two introducers:
1 puncture needle, length 70 mm, 18G
– 1 short I.V. catheter, length 70 mm, 18G
